What Is Destiny?

I have always wondered about destiny probably because of my lack of clarity as I sought to find out what it really meant and what destiny was all about. I turned to the Cambridge Dictionary where it was defined as “the things that will happen in the future”.On the other hand the same dictionary also defined destiny as “the force that some people think controls what happens in the future and is outside of human control”  Unsure of what position I should take, I turned to the Bible and stumbled upon  what God said to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (more…)
